This farm is situated +/- 35km from Jansenville in the Eastern Cape.
Description:
Veld management has been exceptional. Since the 1970's the owners were never fully dependent on the income from this farm. The present owner, a veld management authority with the department of agriculture, used all his knowledge to improve the veld. Erosion walls were erected and dams were made.
One of the surprises is the large number of kudu on the property. This proves that you don't need high fences to keep kudu in if you have a suitable farm. This is a typical Jansenville Karoo farm with lots of soft thornveld, hills and flats.
