Location:
This game farm is situated 10km from Jansenville in the Eastern Cape. It is situated on the banks of the Sunday's River which runs through the property for about 5 km.
The farm is approximately 160 km from Port Elizabeth on the road to Graaff-Reinet.
Description:
This area has a healthy climate, and is completely malaria-free. It is therefore excellent for game.
Topography:
Hills and plains with lots of soft riverveld.
Vegetation:
The vegetation consists of traditional noorsveld with a large variety of edible shrubs including spekboom, wild plum, granaat, gwarri, karee etc. There is a good coverage of karooveld and a large area of riverveld with thorn trees.
Carrying capacity:
14 ha per large stock unit.
Climate:
A very healthy and pleasant climate- summer days are warm but the nights cool down; winter days are comfortable with occasional frost.

300- 350 mm per annum
Fencing:
The entire farm, excluding 400 ha, is game fenced with stock-proof internal fences.

There are 20 camps with water.
The farm has 2 springs, 3 earth dams and 9 windmills.

The farm has very similar vegetation to the Greater Addo Elephant National Park. Most game species will therefore do well.

This farm is already game-fenced, and is situated in an ideal position. It has the distinct advantage of having the Sundays River running through it, which gives this farm added eco-tourism potential.
