This beautiful farm is situated in the scenic Langkloof Valley near Misgund, which is approximately halfway between the towns of Joubertina and Uniondale.
The farm is 180 km from the coastal city of Port Elizabeth, in the Baviaanskloof wilderness area, which is a World Heritage Site. The farm borders the nature reserve.
Description:
The expansive farm is 1500 ha in extent. Access to the farm is controlled by an electric gate. At the entrance gate is a security office and 3 bedroom flat.
The water supply of the farm comes from 4 boreholes- 2 are fully equipped, and 2 are in reserve. A small stream runs through a part of the farm.
Every building on the farm was built from the natural stone of the area (no bricks and no maintenance). Ample accommodation is available at the manor house, which consists of 2 bedrooms, 2 self-catering guest rooms, a 2 bedroom cottage as well as a flat that can accommodate up to 12 guests at a time.
The rooms of the manor house lead on to a shady patio, which is covered by trees, and includes an entertainment area as well as a wine cellar.
All the facilities have beautiful views over the valley and are surrounded by lush gardens, a swimming pool, as well as a gymnasium, sauna and beauty parlour. The restaurant is partly completed.
There is ample under roof parking, store rooms and farm sheds.
There is a wide variey of game and bird species naturally occuring on the farm.
